The Diggers detail -

This beaded image, entitled "The Diggers," is an excellent example of the fine beaded work that can be done with collectible beads. The surface of the earth is made of"seed beads" (small beads) and

the underground area is packed with 2,000 year old Roman beads that were made in the Romanian colony at the time of Christ. These particular beads were traded into North Africa and eventually found their way to sub Saharan west Africa and the countries of tropical West Africa.
